Old farmhouses have a charm all their own. Surrounded by wood and centuries-old walls, life here feels very different from staying in a hotel: twice as cozy and truly unique. We were determined to preserve the beauty of our historic farmhouse, so we carefully renovated it, building everything new with sustainable resources, local materials, and wood from our own forest. We even lovingly restored antique cupboards and chests.

A farm truly comes to life through its two- and four-legged residents. We are a warm-hearted family spanning three generations, running our farm and wine tavern with genuine passion.
Grandpa Toni cares for the animals and tends the vines, while Grandma Sofia looks after the garden. Melanie works her magic in the kitchen, creating delicious dishes, and Benni serves them with a smile, always ready for a friendly chat. And then there are our three little adventurers – Rosi, Rudi, and Toni – who brighten every corner with their cheerful spirit, bringing joy to guests both young and old.
A Farm with History
The Huberhof is one of the oldest and most remarkable farms in Fiè / Völs. First mentioned in records in 1291, it has been in our family since 1774 and proudly bears the title of Erbhof – a hereditary farm. This distinction is truly special, awarded only to farms that have remained in the same family for at least 200 years.
We care deeply about keeping traditions alive and preserving what is old for the generations to come. That is why we nurture our organic farm with heartfelt passion – a passion you can sense in every corner of the house, and most of all in our apartments.
In 2025, we carefully restored the farmhouse and apartments, creating unique new spaces: featuring a whirlpool with retro charm, a warm and homely atmosphere, and a down-to-earth feel enhanced by a touch of luxury.

We cherish our land and nature, which is why every decision we make is guided by sustainability. Our farm is fully organic, our animals are raised in a species-appropriate way, and we completely avoid pesticides, mineral fertilizers, or chemical treatments. We prepare our food naturally, without additives, always in harmony with the seasons.
Heating, electricity, and hot water all come from 100% renewable energy – harnessed directly from the sun and from wood sourced in our own forest.
When creating our new holiday apartments, we worked exclusively with regional materials. Fresh timber was taken from our own woodland, while old beams and planks were carefully reclaimed from the historic farmhouse, cleaned, and lovingly given a new life. The result: modern comfort blended seamlessly with nature’s rhythm.
On a Cozy Path
Life thrives on our farm: cats wander quietly through the barn, birds chirp all around – and petting the animals isn’t just allowed, it’s encouraged! Guests of all ages love it, and it’s more than fun: studies show that spending time with animals can lower blood pressure and strengthen the immune system.
Don’t be surprised if there are fewer animals around in the summer. That’s when our cows and most of the calves head up to the Malga di Corces / Kortscher Alm Alpine pastures and the alpine meadows of the Sciliar / Schlern mountain massif and the Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm Alpine pastures. Come fall, they return to the Huberhof bringing fresh Alpine butter and flavorful Alpine cheese.
Experience Life on the Farm
Help feed the animals or join in when it’s time to bring in the hay. Stroll through the garden with Grandma, and if the sun takes a break and rain clouds roll in, gather around for games or curl up with a good book. On our organic farm, boredom simply isn’t an option. And sometimes the best thing you can do is nothing at all – just sit back, take in the view, and let your thoughts wander.
When you’re ready to explore beyond the farm, the mountains are calling. Hiking trails, day trips, and even a few impressive peaks start right outside your holiday apartment
