Family holidays at the Huberhof farm in Völs am Schlern
There’s never a dull moment here – every day brings new discoveries for our youngest guests. At Huberhof, children aren’t just visitors; they become part of everyday farm life. They play alongside our own children, explore new things, and experience the world with curiosity and wonder. In summer, they run freely through the meadows; in winter, they dive into snowy adventures.
In the barn, they meet rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, cows, and calves, collect fresh eggs, and experience authentic farm life up close. Additional highlights include exciting treasure hunts and baking bread on a stick over a crackling campfire.
Sustainable, with the next generation in mind
You won’t find papaya at breakfast or caviar at dinner here. Instead, we serve honest, wholesome dishes made from what grows in our garden and what our animals provide – food that comes from the farm and from the heart.
We focus on what we produce ourselves. When the garden rests in winter, we simply serve coleslaw instead of leafy salads. In return, our cuisine remains light, nourishing, and full of natural goodness – something our children love just as much as our guests.
Our aim is to create awareness for what is local, grounded, and authentic – for ourselves, for our children, and for everyone who stays with us. Because preserving what truly matters today means protecting it for the next generation. That is our philosophy.
