Summer is the season when everything comes to life on the farm. It’s haymaking time – harvesting, preserving, enjoying the rhythm of nature. You’re welcome to join us in the fields or lend a hand in the meadows. But don’t forget to leave time for all the outdoor adventures Fiè allo Sciliar /Völs am Schlern and the Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm mountain pastures have to offer: walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking…
With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can travel throughout the region by bus or train – free of charge and with complete flexibility.

Summer Is for Hikers
Whether you enjoy easy trails from hut to hut, scenic walks to rustic farms, or summit hikes with Alpine panoramas – the landscapes surrounding the Huberhof offer it all. From spring to late autumn, nature invites you to explore.
We’re happy to share a few of our favorite hikes – routes through blooming Alpine pastures and up to unforgettable views.
On Your Bikes, Get Set, Go
Whether you prefer a classic bike, e-bike, or mountain bike – the natural beauty around the Sciliar / Schlern massif is best explored on two wheels. From forest tracks and single trails to panoramic climbs and exhilarating descents, there’s a tour for every level, right on our doorstep or up on the Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm. Fancy discovering the region with a pro? You can book a guided MTB or e-bike tour with a certified guide directly on site.
And when your legs are tired, and your head is full of fresh mountain air – it’s time to kick back and relax in one of our cozy holiday apartments.
You can book your bikes at Gasko in Siusi / Seis and pick them up directly there. For a small fee, delivery and collection to/from the farm can be arranged. As our guest, you’ll receive a 10% discount.
Adventures for All Ages – Family Excursions
While our farm may well be the best adventure playground your children could wish for, the surrounding area on the sunny high plateau in the heart of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site has even more in store for families.
On the Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm, themed trails make hiking fun and interactive for all ages, and the Sciliar-Catinaccio / Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park offers guided family walks through untouched landscapes.
A highlight for many is a visit to Prösels Castle in Fiè allo Sciliar / Völs am Schlern: the impressive Knights’ Hall, the old chapel, summer concerts, and lively castle tours bring history to life – not just for the kids.
